RIP Norman Mailer 1923 - 2007

Norman Mailer died yesterday of acute renal failure.
My favorite of his books is "Ancient Evenings", a highly detailed story of reincarnation in Ancient Egypt. I think it is also one of Mailer's least popular books, and was widely panned by the critics. I also enjoyed "Harlot's Ghost" which is an enormous tome (some 1300 pages) about the CIA which ends with to be continued...
I assume that is quite unlikely, unless there is an unfinished manuscript somewhere amongst the paperwork of his estate. Or unless his estate and literary agent set up a situation like V.C Andrews and pump out book after book post mortem.
